Pregnancy isn’t the only time you need to look after yourself. I can help with unwanted worrying, low mood, poor self-esteem, stress management skills, and chronic pain management.
One in ten pregnant women experience antenatal depression and anxiety. I can help you deal with relationship difficulties, infertility/sub-fertility, becoming a mum, and the transition to parenthood.
Anxiety and depression during pregnancy can be painful and isolating. I provide support for anxiety in pregnancy, perinatal loss, post-termination distress, and preparing for labour.
More than one in seven new mums experience postnatal depression and anxiety. I provide help for coping with birth trauma, attachment and bonding issues, parenting skills, coping with disabilities, and exploring return-to-work options.
Perinatal and infant mental health is generally viewed to be the period from preconception to 36 months.
